MIKROSUM S MIX32 is the first affordable Summing mixer with features only seen in the most expensive units. The BLEND circuit allows easy parallel processing of your mix bus with a bit of width. The Lundahl Transformers gives you that final punchy vibe so wanted. Stereo image Depth/Width, and a 200khz frequency response makes mixing and panning decisions easier. Signal present/peak leds and vumeters allows you control levels while you mix the best tracks. ¡A real mix solver!.
¡TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR MIX!
Mixing a reverb tail, applying EQ, Level, panning instruments in the stereo field, applying effects, hearing the details, are fundamental aspects to achieve a good mix. Often the limitations of DAWS, or audio interfaces with only a single stereo output, can make mixing decisions difficult.
The MIKROSUM S MIX32, allows mixing up to 32 channels, with its 200khz frequency response, giving a deep breath to your Groups/Stems and individual instruments, so you can take the best decisions for your mix.
MIX BUS TOPOLOGY
The MIKROSUM S MIX 32, makes extensive use of Balanced differential summing amplifier topology and bucket summing, to maximize the headroom and reduce noise.
INSERT BUS PROCESSING
The BLEND circuit allows you to apply paralell processing to the mix bus. It is a pre-fader process. The insert send/retrun jacks are balanced TRS, and half normalled. Thus inserting a Jack in the send/output allows you to record the mix dry, without interrupting the signal path.
METERING
Four leds give you information about a signal being present at the outputs of the final summing stage,and peak, thus allowing control for saturation of the mixbus before apllying insert processing. Two round vumeters and two peak leds give you information of the output levels.

FRONT PANEL DETAILS
FROM LEFT TO RIGHT:
1. Signal present and Summing amps output level indicator. Indicates, level at the output summing amps, before the insert SEND/RETURN amplifiers.
2. 15mm diameter blend fader + blend switch in/out + green led indicator of active blend.
3. MONO switch with green led. When engaged, (Switch in),sets channels 1 to 4 in Mono. Rest of the channels (5-8) remain in stereo. When not activated, all channels are stereo.
4. OUTPUT TYPE :
Transformer output (Lundahl LL2811), and electronically balanced Line driver output.
5. BIG OUTPUT FADER VOLUME KNOB
A 28mm diameter knob adjusts the output volume.
The fader amplifier can give 10db of gain. To this gain should be added the 6 db of the line driver output and the driver circuit of the transformers.
As the mix and monitor xlr connectors are linked, the monitor level should be adjusted with an external monitor controller.
6. Mix output Peak Level leds L&R.
7. A pair of 34mm round vumeters indicate the Mix output level.

You can see the four db25 balanced connectors that hold the 32 summing inputs. Summing inputs 1 to 4 can be switched to MONO operation. Channels 5 to 8 remain in stereo mode.
